My mission is to guide you into becoming the healthiest, strongest version of yourself through habit change, nutrition and fitness training. “I’ve always felt that what we eat has a direct impact on the structure and function of our bodies. When I was in high school, I would go to the local bookstore and pick up natural health encyclopedias, books on herbalism and aromatherapy, as well as different diets just to expand my knowledge on the topic. The science of nutrition and herbalism are totally fascinating to me. I try to keep as up to date as possible with all the new research coming out.”
Honesty – Be honest with yourself and the people in your life. When you look in the mirror, are you happy with what you see? Are your actions reflective of the results you want? Are you doing everything you can to be the best version of yourself?
Integrity – Keeping the promises that you make to yourself is a value that cannot be compromised. The desire to change has to be greater than your comfort zone. The process of change will be a challenge and will test your integrity, but there is no room for compromise. Get comfortable being uncomfortable.
Loyalty – When embarking on a mission to change, the only one who matters is you. Be loyal to yourself and your program. The changes you want to see won’t happen overnight, but your consistency and commitment to the plan will carry you through.
Respect – The process of change will have its ups and downs, take some time to reflect on where you are, how far you’ve come and show yourself the respect you deserve. Respect for your mind in the thoughts you think, your body in what you feed it and how you use it, and your soul in the spiritual practices you align with.
Personal Growth – We spend most of our time in our mind, so it’s imperative that we make sure the environment promotes our goals, health and wellbeing. Investing in your personal development will enhance quality of life and help you focus on the realization of dreams and aspirations. Personal development may take place over the course of an individual’s entire lifespan.
My formal education began with the diploma in holistic health practice program from achs.edu. I love learning about anatomy and physiology, and nutrition science so that led me down the path to pursue a dietetics degree. Since the degree program is so extensive and I wanted to start helping people right away, I decided a personal training certification would allow me to consult one on one and incorporate fitness with nutrition into the lifestyle changes to promote health and overall wellness. I currently hold a personal training and health coach certification through acefitness.org and should be earning my Dietetics degree by 2023.
We all have the potential to be a better version of ourselves. Through fitness, nutrition, and personal development our body mind and spirit will grow exponentially. With me by your side, you will always have the support and care of someone who wants to see you succeed in every area of your life. I know that making changes is difficult, and the people around you may be confused with these changes, but at the end of the day we need to do what's best for us to become the person that we are meant to be in this life. We only have one life to live, so let's make it as successful and enjoyable as possible!
